The “Mid-Atlantic Fallen
Riders Foundation” (FRF) was established during the 2005 season in order to connect
the overwhelming support and outreach of the off-road motorcycle community with
riders and their families that have sustained serious injuries.
The FRF links the generosity of the community with
families in need by establishing a non-profit organization that raises funds and
accepts donations throughout the season that will be granted to a select number
of families.
Though the primary purpose of the foundation is
to help those in need, the foundation will also provide means to promote rider safety
in an effort to minimize the risk of serious injury.
The foundation will receive most of its funding
through private and business donations. We are also planning several annual fundraisers
and outreach events. The foundation is something that we feel very strong about
and we plan on working very hard to make it a great source of help for others.
